Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Awesome movie.Definitely not flawlessly adapted from the brillant
book.They left out Tom Bombadil and Goldberry. They left out the Barrows
& the Barrow-wights. They cut down some scary things about the
Wraiths. But I love seeing the incredible detail of the Shire and
Rivendell,Rohan, Lothlorien, Fangorn Forest, even Moria. Plus most of
the actors were brillant, emotional,and fairly close to their character.
Scenery
was incredible. Plus people who never read the book saw the movie and
some people were inspired by the hopeful points in the story that they
kept in the movie.
There was some funny things, some tense things, all around pretty great movie.
I know it always cheers me up when I am feeling really down and like the odds are against me.
A much better review coming soon. This was all we had yet and we wanted to get at least 1 review posted so it isn't sitting around all empty and lonely since it was a blog with no posts.
